The Mehta Boys made a stunning debut during the opening night of the 15th Chicago South Asian Film Festival (CSAFF), earning widespread acclaim from the audience. Directed by Boman Irani, the film premiered on September 20, 2024, at the AMC River East 21, kicking off the festival in grand style. This film, produced by Irani Movietone LLP and Chalkboard Entertainment LLP, is significant as it represents Boman Irani’s first venture as a director. In addition to directing, Irani co-wrote the film with Academy Award-winning writer Alex Dinelaris. The Mehta Boys also features a strong ensemble cast, including Avinash Tiwary, Shreya Chaudhry, Puja Sarup, and Boman Irani himself.
