Tumbbad saw its highest-ever footfalls on National Cinema Day, netting ₹2.60 crore on the second Friday of its re-release. Around 2.75 lakh moviegoers watched the mythological horror film, surpassing its original opening day and re-release week one collections.

Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam Surpasses Expectations

The non-starrer Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam managed to collect ₹1 crore on its opening day, performing better than expected. The film’s full run will determine if it can double its earnings.

Cinema Day Benefits All Languages and Generations

Regional films also saw strong box office numbers, with the Marathi film Navra Maza Navsacha 2 earning ₹2 crore, and The GOAT selling 2 lakh tickets on its third Friday. Punjabi releases like Gandhi 3, Bibi Rajni, and Ardaas 3 together sold over 1.1 lakh tickets. Classic re-releases such as Veer Zaara, Khel Khel Mein, and Buckingham Murders brought in ₹75 lakh combined.
