To enhance this festive spirit, Zindagi DTH presents a special lineup of popular family shows, featuring a mix of gripping dramas and light-hearted comedies to cater to all tastes. This month offers a diverse array of content, including classic favorites, feel-good dramas, and short films, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Kicking off the month, Zindagi DTH features the heartfelt drama Thays, airing for the first time daily at 6 PM. This emotional story stars Junaid Khan, Hira Mani, and Farah Shah, following Rubab as her love for Asher is tested by her manipulative mother, Zehra, leading to heartbreak amid confusion and misunderstandings.
Making its debut for Indian audiences, Jhoothi is now available daily at 9 PM. This comedic drama features real-life couple Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain, centering on Nirma, a young woman entangled in lies while pursuing her dreams. Additionally, the beloved show Suno Chanda, starring Iqra alongside Farhan Saeed, returns with Seasons 1 and 2 on October 14 and October 29, allowing audiences to enjoy it during their celebrations.
Further enhancing the festive theme, two new short films will be released: Naam Kya Rakha on October 13 and its sequel, Naam Kyu Rakha, on October 27. The first film follows two close university friends who fall in love but are separated by societal pressures, leading the girl to marry someone else. Seven years later, they unexpectedly meet at a hospital, reigniting old feelings. The sequel continues their journey as they navigate complex relationships and redefine friendship. These films promise engaging stories filled with joy and laughter.
Viewers should also look out for Kuch Ankahi, premiering on October 10, featuring Sajal Aly, Bilal Abbas Khan, and Sheheryar Munawar; Mere Paas Tum Ho, starring Humayun Saeed and Ayeza Khan, launching on October 23; Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha on October 29, featuring Wahaj Ali, Hania Aamir, and Zaviyar Nauman Ijaz; and Humsafar in the Jashn-e-Superstars slot every Sunday, starting October 6, with Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan.
Mere Paas Tum Ho and Suno Chanda, which originally aired in India in August and October 2023 respectively, captured the hearts of viewers nationwide. After gaining immense popularity, both series are returning to Zindagi DTH this October. Actors Farhan Saeed and Humayun Saeed have expressed their appreciation for the Indian audience.
